Far North Queensland Homebirth Community Circle

For many years now I have hosted monthly gatherings to bring together homebirth families, birthworkers and those interested in and curious about homebirth in Far North Queensland. 

These gatherings have taken on many forms through the ever-changing landscape of homebirth in Australia, but the vision has always remained the same – to provide support and community for everyone wanting to birth at home.

Our events are now formally recognised under the banner of Homebirth Queensland, and hosted on the second Thursday of every month, alternating locations between Goomboora Park in Cairns, and Kairi Recreational Park near Atherton hosted by Tablelands-based private midwife, Tanya of Our Midwife.
